We offer the backflow repair services that you need. Our technicians have the knowledge to repair any assembly, any make, any size, any time. We stock and carry on our trucks, all the backflow parts necessary to make needed repairs or replacements.

You received a letter from your local Water authority requiring that a "Backflow Prevention Assembly" be installed at the service connection of your property. We can help.

Please forward the notice provided by the water authority to jan@atlasbackflow.com. Once paperwork is received, we can review and schedule a time to visit the property, and then provide a formal estimate.

Because testing and repairs are all we do, we are able to keep repair costs lower If you have a test report showing a “Failed” inspection, please email that report to our office.

How much does a backflow test cost?

Standard annual backflow testing is $90 per device in Los Angeles County and Orange County.

This rate applies to all standard residential and commercial device types, including DCVA, PVB, RP/RPZ, SVB, and fire line assemblies. Pricing includes the test, compliance documentation, and submittal to your water authority where required.

Do you charge more for larger or higher-hazard devices?

No. Our $90-per-device rate in LA and Orange County applies regardless of device size or type. We believe in transparent, predictable pricing.

Do you service areas outside LA and Orange County?

Yes. We serve Ventura County, Palmdale, Lancaster, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, and San Diego County. Our minimum service charge for these areas is $450 per visit to cover travel and scheduling.

How much does it cost to certify a newly installed backflow device?

The initial certification on any newly installed device is $150 per device.

How much does it cost to certify a device that was recently repaired?

If Atlas Backflow performed the repair, the post-repair certification is included — there’s no separate fee. If you’re requesting certification on a device that was repaired by another company, or you’re requesting a standalone certification visit, the cost is $150 per device.

How much do repairs cost?

Repair pricing is quoted per job. Cost varies by device size, the parts needed, the condition of the assembly, and site access. We’ll provide a written estimate before any work begins. Contact us for a free repair estimate.

How much do replacements and new installations cost?

Like repairs, replacements and installations are quoted per job. Pricing depends on device size, the type of assembly being installed, site requirements, permits if applicable, and any access or equipment needs (such as crane work for larger devices). We’ll provide a written estimate before scheduling any work.

Do you mark up parts?

Yes. Like any service company, parts are marked up modestly to cover sourcing, stocking, and warranty. We keep markups reasonable and competitive — and we always stock common parts on our trucks to minimize delays.

Are there any hidden fees or surcharges?

We don’t have hidden fees. Our $90 testing rate is what you pay for standard testing in our LA/OC service area. If your situation involves anything outside the

standard (unusual access requirements, after-hours scheduling, or specialty work), we’ll discuss it with you upfront before the appointment.

Do you offer discounts for multiple devices or multiple properties?
